September 2010 Yard of the Month
John Lee, owner of Gibson Garden Center, 500 N. O'Conner, has agreed to sponsor our Yard of the Month program. His sign will be placed in the yard selected each month along with the IHDNA sign, and the winner will be given a certificate which can be redeemed for $25 in merchandise at Gibson Garden Center. Gibson's has a nice assortment of annuals, schrubs and trees. It is also well stocked with garden tools, fertilizers and a variety of controls for yard diseases and insects, both chemical and organic. We would encourage you to visit Gibsons, make your yard beautiful and compete in the Yard of the Month program.
The home of Dave and Nancey Bingham on Mosswood Lane has been selected for the September Yard of the Month. This home has been on our watch list for some time and it survived August very nicely.
